Historic Vice Presidential Visit to Parker County; VOTE UNTIL 7 PM

November 3, 2026

Underscoring the critical stakes in today’s election, last Thursday Vice President JD Vance visited Weatherford, urging Republicans to turn out and vote. I hope you enjoy some of the pictures from that event below.

It was my high honor to welcome the crowd and lead the packed house of over 3,200 attendees in the U.S. and Texas Pledges of Allegiance. Terry and I also had the chance to meet the Vice President before his speech.

The event was held at JRJ Construction, where owner Adam Friend generously opened his business for this momentous occasion. This was an historic day for Parker County and our region, and our community turned out in force with great enthusiasm.

Now, let’s make sure we keep that momentum going today. If you have voted, thank you. Now it’s time to text or call your friends and family to make sure they get out and vote today. If you usually vote on Election Day, the weather has passed and it is a sunny, clear day to cast your ballot.

I can’t stress enough – if conservatives like you don’t turn out today, we’ll have Austin’s hometown liberals as Governor, Lt. Governor and U.S. Senator. I know these candidates well from the Legislature. They are indistinguishable from AOC, Bernie Sanders and Zohran Mamdami.

Please get out and vote.

People began standing in line early in the morning and packed out the JRJ Construction warehouse. Outside, there were large screens to accommodate those who could not fit inside.
